Hi, I’m Mindy, founder of TidyBooks.
With over 15 years in financial services—including roles at global firms like BlackRock and MUFG Investor Services, as well as boutique hedge funds in New York—I’ve developed a sharp eye for detail and a deep love for numbers. Over the years, I found that my favorite parts of the job were reconciling accounts, identifying errors and omissions in cash flow entries or fee calculations, and building strong connections with clients and vendors. It wasn’t until I became Treasurer for my son’s PTSA that I discovered how perfectly my skills aligned with bookkeeping. That experience inspired me to make a strategic pivot into full-time bookkeeping—bringing together my passion for precision and organization with my desire to help others gain clarity in their finances.
Today, through TidyBooks, I help small business owners clean up and maintain their books, so they can focus on growing their business with confidence and peace of mind. As an Intuit Trained Bookkeeper and QuickBooks ProAdvisor (Levels 1 & 2), I offer trusted bookkeeping services that are easy, efficient, and affordable—empowering business owners to make informed decisions and get back to running their business or spending time doing what they really love.
When I’m not reconciling books or organizing financials, you’ll likely find me hiking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, watching sports or Netflix with my husband, Matt, playing games with my kids, cheering them on at their sporting events, or spending time with friends. I believe balance is key—both in life and in the books!
